Caribbean Cruise 2013

I'm excited to share these photos with you! On April 21st we departed from Galveston, TX for a seven night Western Caribbean cruise.
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed great service and food, viewed incredible scenery, and even relaxed a bit. I always tend to be on the go while vacationing, and it's hard for me to sit still for too long. I was afraid I would be bored on the first two days at sea; however, there was so much to do on the ship--the time went by quickly.

Leaving the Port of Galveston. (Sunday)

The main lobby of the Carnival Magic.

I was an early riser each morning and enjoyed relaxing on our balcony. It was so calm and peaceful; no land or ships in sight.

The ship was movin' on!! Check out the blue water! (side note: I didn't do anything to the coloring of these photos!)

I'm a checklist person, and sunglasses were on my list. They were the last thing on my list, so I went ahead and threw the list away because I knew I wouldn't forget mine! I had squinty eyes all week. Fail. :(

One of the beautiful sunsets we enjoyed! This is one of my favorite photos from the whole week.
I'm not sure how anyone could believe creation happened by a big bang!

First stop, Montego Bay, Jamaica--anxiously waiting to dock. (Wednesday)

These photos were taken at the Hilton Rose Hall resort where we spent the day.

Breathtaking views of the ocean!

The second port was Grand Cayman. (Thursday)

The water looked fake and was very calm in Grand Cayman.

Our ship was massive, and this photo doesn't really do justice. The tenders (boats used to transfer you to the island from the ship) were double deckers, so keep that in mind when comparing it to the size of the ship. The ship was 13 stories and felt like a floating city!!

Pirates! ;)

Another one of my favorite shots from the trip!! Cozumel, Mexico (Friday)

These two photos look like post cards. I wanted to crawl onto the hammock and take a nap!

I took so many photos at this location. The water and rock formations were beautiful!

Heading home... I spy a lighthouse. :)

The end! I hope you enjoyed browsing through the photos. If you did, feel free to leave a comment below.
It's been ages since anyone has made a peep around here, and it's gettin' kinda lonely.
